Who We Are
Mediators at MediationWorks can help family members resolve elder issues in a non-adversarial manner. Facilitated discussions address a wide range of topics including disagreements about independent living, medical care, finances and interpersonal relationships. Impartial, mediators, certified by the Virginia Supreme Court, do not take sides or make judgments. They structure discussions, aid communication, and keep the parties on-task as they work toward their own voluntary agreement. Mediation is confidential and based on respect and informed decision-making.
Other areas of mediation are divorce, real estate, employment, and estate matters.
