Who We Are

The Hanover Adult Center offers Linking Lives which involves training sessions that focus on goal oriented community based living skills such as socialization, money management, physical fitness, communication and personal care. A variety of community based training sites include: volunteerwork, shopping, recreational activities such as bowling, visits to local parks, libraries and restaurants. There is an assistance and training with personal care needs as well as health monitoring (nursing on site). This program has center-based, structured, therapeutic activities such as crafts, music, exercise and other educational programs.

Intake Process
Initially a telephone call is made by the Case Manager or caregiver to collect information about the program. The Program Director will complete an informal screening over the telephone to assure that the perspective participant is appropriate for the program.
