Who We Are

Common Ground Negotiation Services can provide mediation services for issues such as separation and divorce, parenting, parent-child, relationships, workplace, and family decision-making with the elderly. Group facilitation is also available, as well as negotiation coaching.

Common ground negotiation workshops are offered throughout the year on a variety of subjects, such as custody mediation, defining mediation, negotiation skills for everyday life, using dialog to make decisions and more.

Mediation is a structured process used to resolve conflict with the help of an impartial third party. Mediators do not give legal advice. A signed mediation agreement will affect the legal rights of the parties and should be reviewed by an attorney before signing it. Mediators do not impose solutions or decisions on the parties. Each participant must be capable of representing his or her own interest, or should have someone there to do that for them. Experts, legal, financial or medical, can be included in the mediation process. Mediation provides a safe place for families to resolve conflicts.
