Adult Disability Day Program, Developmental Disabilities

Experiences Unlimited (part of United Cerebral Palsy) is a day program which serves adults with developmental disabilities and provides individuals with meaningful community participation. Program is designed to provide individuals with disabilities an opportunity to increase their quality of life.  The District of Columbia does not license adult day care programs however, Experieces Unlimited is certified throughout the D.C. Dept. of Disability Administration's Annual Provider Certification program.



Experiences Unlimited operates twelve months of the year, five days a week providing services from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The physical location of the program is 3135 8th Street, NE, and 1818 New York Ave, NE, Washington, DC. The program serves up to 125 consumers in each location in different experiences and a multi-purpose area used for lunch, special events and arrival/departure activities as well as through participation in community experience trips.



During the past year, Experiences Unlimited successfully moved from a classroom-based services delivery model to an experiential-based model. This new model includes increased trips into the community with the follow-up experiences at the center
