Day Support

Helton House has both a center-based (Group Day Services) and non-center-based (Community Engagement) day program. The day support programs provide skill-building support for the improvement of self-advocacy, self and environmental awareness, socialization, community integration, behavior modification, and daily living skills to name a few. They provide opportunities for peer interaction, development of natural supports, and community engagement through various volunteer and community activities.

Helton House uses an individualized treatment approach, refers individuals for additional services/adaptive devices, and coordinates services with other treatment providers. All staff members are trained in developmental disabilities, behavioral treatment approaches, and applicable medical diagnoses.
