Who We Are
Community Living provides a center-based, planned day program for individuals with intellectual, developmental and/or physical disabilities. Participants are involved in activities that promote social functioning and independence. Skills are also promoted that help maintain health such as self-care, hygiene, meal preparation and medication management. Recreational and social activities are jointly planned by participants with the staff. Activities provide opportunities to build basic skills for employment and independent living such as carrying out tasks, becoming a member of a group, communicating with peers and others and using community resources. The focus of the program includes:
