Mental Health Advocacy

Partner for Mental Health maintains strong and collaborative relationships with diverse members of the criminal justice and mental health care systems. When appropriate, we advocate on behalf of clients for alternatives to incarceration, sentencing outcomes that include opportunities for treatment, and interventions that reflect the principles of trauma-informed care while also maintaining safety and security. 

Partner for Mental Health also provides mediation services delivered by a professional mediator who is also a trained psychiatric nurse. Her mediation skills, coupled with her expert knowledge of mental health issues, enable her to address cases with specialized awareness others may lack. She has had considerable success finding a creative resolution to challenging cases that both parties are able to embrace.
