Emergency Assistance for Varied Needs

Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens provides the following emergency services: distribution of emergency food; provision of staff to complete emergency fuel assistance and food stamp applications; assistance in arranging for elderly housing and/or household items; provision of staff time to assist during local emergencies such as floods; and assistance with emergency meals during short periods of confinement in the event a home provider becomes unable to assist a client.



This service is part of the Care Coordination program.
