Who We Are

COPPC provides general assistance to those who are elderly, disabled, or victims of fire.  Based on each individual's needs and our Board's guidelines, they may receive assistance with any of the following: material items, food, and emergency shelter.   Some may qualify for assistance with rent, mortgage, utilities, and heating (oil/propane/firewood).  Clothing assistance is also provided. Those in need can also be referred to other community programs. Note: a cut off notice is required for utility assistance and an eviction notice is required for rent assistance.

Financial assistance can also help those experiencing financial difficulties due to an unexpected life circumstance.
