Developmental Disabilities at Taylor-Starkewood

Adult Day Support is a center-based and non-center based program committed to providing care, treatment, and programming to individuals 18 years of age or older who has an intellectual disability or developmental disability, and may or may not have a secondary diagnosis. It is our philosophy that individuals with disabilities are no different than people without disabilities and that they have the same needs, desires, and dreams.

Taylor-Starkewood's Day Support Program provides adults who have developmental and/or intellectual disabilities with a choice of individual and group activities, such as art, exercise and community field trips. These activities will help individuals have fun, spend time in the community, and learn new skills. The program will focus on customized and flexible activities that are designed to stimulate both the mind and the body, promoting health and wellness.
