Who We Are

Individuals, under the age of 55,  with severe visual impairment will receive help through the Rehabilitation Teaching / Independent Living (RT/IL) Services Program to adapt to the challenges of daily living, orientation and mobility, assistive communication and general adjustment services. Rehabilitation teachers provide in-depth home visits to evaluate the unique needs, skills and concerns of each senior and due a post-assessment to assure that goals have been met after services have been provided.  The teacher sets independent living goals with the senior and writes a Independent Living Plan.
