The Williamsburg Chapter of F.R.E.E. (The Foundation for Rehabilitation Equipment and Endowment), helps those in need of medical mobility equipment to find independence and to improve their quality of life. FREE provides related rehabilitation equipment such as walkers, canes, wheelchairs, power chairs, scooters, bedside commodes, shower chairs, tub benches, and other mobility devices. All applications for equipment require a physician's approval by prescription and/or a letter of medical necessity. Donations of gently used equipment are always needed and appreciated. You may drop off your donations at any Goodwill of Central Virginia store and ask them to mark the equipment with “For the FREE Foundation”. Thank you for your generosity.

FREE is considered a provider of last resort and provides assistance only when all other resources are unavailable.
